Right in the midst of skyscrapers there exists a low-rise neighborhood--Tsukuda--which I discovered by accident.

Toured the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

Visit to Japan





We first took a bus to Mito where we visited the graves of Yoshiko's father and grandfather (who was a beloved Japanese poet and people make a pilgrimage to his grave site.) Elementary school children wore elegant uniforms.

Trip to Kenting
















We found out how to satisfy the children--stay at a 5-star resort. Kenting is the Ft. Lauderdale of Taiwan. We had a great time at the Chateau Resort. Especially enjoyed the great breakfast buffet.

Help with news story

I sometimes read articles in the "China Post," the local English language paper, and something must be lost in the translation because they make no sense. Here, for example, is an article about "human flesh searching" on the internet.
