Hello Friends,
Joe and Beth have created this blog to share our experiences in Taiwan where we are living from February through June 2010. Joe received a Fulbright to teach American history at Tamkang University. Joe's wife, Beth Ayers, will also contribute to this blog. Our children, Cristina (9), Antonio (7), and Leah (5) are enrolled in local schools. Antonio and Cristina attend Dengkong Elementary school and are in the 1st grade. Leah is in the Kid Castle daycare.
Just as I started writing this entry from my campus office on the 9th floor, I felt a pretty strong earthquake! No one in the building panicked so everyone must be fairly experienced with the shaking.
